I’m just an unsophisticated guy who now lives in the Salem, VA area . . . Moving isn't fun any more . . .

OK, An aspiring nature photographer, love to travel to rural and scenic places, hate filling out these silly questionaires. They don't tell you about the real person behind them. . .

I used to travel in and about Virginia quite a bit for work and really like the rural parts. I guess there is a message in that, as soon as I figure it out. When I retire, the destinations will expand to most of North America.

I prefer to travel by air-Honda, flexible schedules, minimal baggage restrictions, many layovers in and near National Parks and wildlife refuges, route changes at a whim.

Am almost always around Salem on weekends . . . BUT, that too may change... AS soon as I can figure out where I want to live . . .

The question on my body type is limited to one choice, so here goes: If I’m at Walmart, I’m somewhat thinner than average, at any gym heavier than average, on that basis if you average it out I’m average, so I marked average . . . as if we could ever determine what average really means. On average, like 90% of the population I want to loose a few to become more average.

Agewise, I’m mentally almost in my 30’s, (a mature 30's) but several of my joints remind me otherwise, especially when it rains . . . or when I walk up or down stairs, those parts feel about 180 years old.

As to the aspiring “nature photographer” probably better make that passionate . . . I rarely travel without a camera and been known to stomp on the brakes and back up to get that perfect image. Passengers beware, this occurs with little or no warning. Love to photograph sunrises and sunsets over water . . . or reflections on water . . . But I also love to photograph in the Rockies . . .

I love to travel, and while travelling alone can be OK, travelling with a like-minded partner/friend/soulmate/ fellow 60's dropout/ is a whole lot more fun. Do you own a camper? Used to do tents, but the ground seems far harder these days.

I like road trips since they allow far more flexibility and ability to try back roads newly discovered. I hope to chat a bit with a like-minded woman, with the eventual goal of a more permanant relationship. So are you out there somewhere ?

Would love to find a non-judgemental, somewhat patient woman who is still a bit of a non-conformist, a 60's drop-out artsy type sounds good . . . One who actually reads this preferences stuff. In return you will get an honest, no-games, one woman man, who prides himself in being a non-conformist.

PS: She should like road trips . . .

First Date . . .

I would ask you what you would like to do! I guess thats the first test for both of us, seeing if we can come up with something we would both be comfortable with or a first date. I'm really pretty flexible and look for the simple things in life.
