Single Dad in mid 30's who’s started a new chapter in life is looking to meet new friends and share lots of laughs.

Kids come first to me…I have a son and an adopted daughter, if you don’t like kids, I aint yer guy, sorry!

That said, mine have pretty much grown up on me, leaving quite a bit of time for me to meet new friends and enjoy all that life has to offer.

I’ve enjoyed the benefits of self employment for sometime now, especially the flexibility to set my own schedule and working hours, yet I have to also manage the ‘obstacles’ that come along as well.

In my free time I like to make people laugh and travel the world, I’ve also been formally recognized (twice) for my work as a volunteer & coach (high school level baseball), and I was recently knighted and anointed as a saint!

okay, so I may not be a knight or a saint, but the rest is all true. ;-))

At times you will find me on the floor dancing to club music (hip-hop/R&B), other times you may see me driving fast with the rock & roll thumping, and of course I may also check out a local band on occasion too.

I served in the military so I can cook, do my own laundry, and take care of my own bills – I’m just trying to find someone to share good times with, share laughter with, and it would also be nice to have someone in my corner wen things go awry.

Anyway, there’s room over here for a person that is able to be spontaneous & laugh often, she’s gotta be able to carry a sharp witted conversation, she MUST love (ALL) kids, and have a sense of what she wants outta life. Attraction is important to me, but that is not based solely on ones outward appearance.

I gotta admit that I am not a fan of cyber (only) friendships, I'm looking for a life partner not a computer :-)) ...don't get me wrong, there's a natural progression in relationship building, but it needs to progress or wat's the point really.

UPDATE: Before you contact me, please be advised that I won't go fight your ex cuz yer still bitter at him and please know that there's 'man rules' against picking up the tab if you hit on other guys while we are together, and finally I'm not really fond of women who swear more then a truck driver in heavy traffic on a holiday weekend...lol, hope you can understand!

I think a great first date would start with a fine dinner featuring intriguing conversation followed by dancing, a game of pool, or perhaps a ride along the coast with music going boom boom pow! -))
