Independent, respectful, honest, hard worker........

I adopted my son from my niece 'my brother’s daughter'. I adopted him at new born and I was happily married. Five years later I go through a divorce "final April 17th 09" and was awarded my son by the courts. Mom never looked back. She does not come around to see him at all. He is confused and I am starting counseling for him so I may have help in understanding how to explain to him he was adopted and what happened to his adopted mom. He sees his biological mom "my niece" and he calls her cousin Ashley. I want him to know he is adopted and had planned to tell him long ago but it just didn't happen. He is a happy little guy and loves me endless. His older brother is 17 yrs. old. My oldest is from my first marriage to my high school sweetheart. She is in the army stationed at Ft. Hood Tx. She has done a tour to Iraq. She is drama free and lets me be the father to our child. So with all that said. I am just a hard working, single father of two great boys. I don't have much of a social life as my recent ex-wife ran off all my friends. I supervise a great group of guys for the City of Plano. I worked for the City of Carrollton for 13 1/2 yrs. and transferred over to Plano in 1997. Most of my staff followed me too Plano. I am in the Sustainability Environmental Waste Services Division. In short I supervise the guys that collect the trash, recycling and landscape waste for the residents in Plano. I like to call it "Living Green" or "Saving Planet Earth". However you look at it, it is a secure line of work with no layoff’. I just purchased season passes to Hawaiian Falls. A local water park in the Colony. My hobbies are fishing, hunting, and selling merchandise on eBay from my website. I have a website loaded with products I sell on eBay as a side job/hobby. Again I have kids so most of the time it is with them however my 17 yr. old can watch his younger brother so I can have some me time. In order to be a great father to my children I need some me time from time to time. I was born and raised in the Dallas, Carrollton area and own my own home in Carrollton. I am independent, financially secure, shy, and nervous as I have not been single in over 16 yrs. Right out of one marriage straight into another. This time I am experiencing the single life with the title of single parent. So far it has been a pleasant experience but lonely at times. I enjoy all types of music except rap, anything to do with water, fishing, hunting and good company. I am not searching for marriage or a mother for my children. I am simply interested in a friend to talk to and hang out with. If something comes from it then that is what God has planned. How about you? If interested, tell me your adventure.
