Random facts about me....

I call myself a recovering devil with diminished scoundrellistic tendencies.

I love the city.

I cook nearly every day.

I think airports are terribly romantic.

I say things like terribly romantic.

Even though I love airports and REALLY love to travel, I am petrified of flying and have serious OCD rituals when it comes to it.

I gasped, involuntarily, when I saw the Hollywood sign for the first time.

I have learned to laugh at myself at least once a day, (I.E., call myself on my own BS).

I have a band, it's for fun, I'm not trying to be a rockstar.

I don't trust people who are not ticklish.

I further don't trust people that don't like, or won't even try sushi.

I have road tripped the entire length of the east coast of Mexico twice.

I grew up in the Midwest, have lived in Nashville, Belize and on St. Maarten but am now a permanent resident of Southern California.

Movies-Classics, (40s, 50s, 60s), old Science Fiction, Cult/Cheesy movies, nearly anything with Zombies, off the wall Comedy.

I'm addicted to Amoeba Music.

I am a terrible pool player.

I have guilty pleasures as far as music and movies that are too embarrassing for public viewing, (ask me in person).

As far as music, Rock, Pop, Classical, Britpop, some Metal, I can even listen to Country.

I cannot tolerate liars in any form; you can expect the same honesty from me.

I am self sufficient AND self reliant.

I work, own my car, and have my own place to live. Meaning, I won't ask you to loan me money, use your car, or move in with you.


There, that said.....

I'd like you to be as beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside. I like women who are stylish, but not so much that your vanity gets in the way of a good time. Bonus points for self confidence, goofiness, spontaneity. Please don't be negative or judgmental. A sarcastic streak is good, but don't let it define who you are. PLEASE no drama queens. I can't stress enough how much I abhor liars. It's not a big deal if you smoke, and drinking is fine. Kids are cool; I would be a better buddy than a new dad.

I make no apologies in that I am new to Los Angeles and am going to be a tourist for a while. I want to be kind of a nerd about it and want to take in all of the weird, crazy, iconic, famous sights, sounds and smells. Show me around?

L.A. is one of the most exciting cities on the planet. I'm sure we could find something exciting to do.
