Hello fishermen!

About me:

I'm an avid reader, made my way through many of the classics, (Jane Austin through Oscar Wilde, and points between). These days I enjoy more contemporary Canadian lit, loved "Three Day Road" by Joseph Boyden - Native Canadian Culture meets WWI. I will read a crime novel when I am in the mood for a little “brain candy,” happy to report I’ve never read anything by Danielle Steele (apologies to Ms. Steele).

I recently updated my home, I’m getting better with the compound mitre saw (it would be a lot easier if walls were square), learned to snake a drain (Yuk!) but I couldn’t have done it without the help of my loyal and generous friends. I hosted a dinner party by way of a thank you, which is the only time that I find cooking fun i.e. for others.

My job is very satisfying; I have met many different people and spent time in many different parts of the Province. I find is continues to be challenging and interesting, with the added bonus that it pays the bills.

Summer weather is here (well, at least in theory), and I’m spending as much time as possible with my horse. There are times when I feel like the luckiest person on the planet, out on horseback… taking in the scenery. However, the ability to ride is not a prerequisite for you.

Like all good parents, my kids are a priority, but they are moving towards independence (teenagers), and I share custody jointly so I am enjoying a little more freedom these days.

I enjoy the usual, movies, dinners out and at home, walks (including hiking), dancing etc. as well as a game of pool and a beer - the only time I drink beer. I have a perfect record of straight losses at pool; I am a very gracious loser, (lots of practice).

About you:

You are a reasonably intelligent person who has a busy and fulfilling life. You are fairly outgoing, and try your best to take care of your health. You value a woman who is independent and easy going.
