I always find this the hardest part. I never know what to say about myself that doesn't sound like everyone else. Oh well here goes. I'm a country girl at heart stuck in the city once again. Missing the wide open spaces, friendly neighbors and people who wave even though they don't know you. I'm a social butterfly, I love people, getting to know them and what makes them tick. I'm independent and self sufficient. I'm sweet and loving. My family and friends are very dear to my heart. I will drop whatever I am doing and go help them when they need me. I am not a damsel in distress, I do not need rescuing. (Yet Snakes and rodents bring out the "ALL GIRL" in me. Yes screams and all ) Yet I am not so strong that I won't ask for help when I need it. I have known great love and great pain. I know what I want in a man and what I will not tolerate. If you are a liar, cheater, game player or do drugs please move on. I have been down all those roads enough to know there is only sorrow and heartache at the end. I know how to compromise when necessary but I will also stand my ground when I feel it is in my best interest. I want a man who is secure in his own skin, who can walk by my side most days, lead when necessary and able to follow when the moment calls for it. A man who can be patient when words fail me, one who understands a simple touch or a hug can fix a lot of things and that when I'm quiet it doesn't mean I'm angry with him, that when I'm venting it is not directed at him, I just need him to listen. I understand a mans need for "guy time" as a healthy relationship has room for time apart. I try very hard not to be superficial but I am human and have my own hang ups, I'm an average size girl working on being smaller, extremely thin guys scare me, they always have. I'm afraid if I hug them too tight I will break them and I will want to cook for them and put some meat on their bones. I prefer a man that when the world has worn me out or I just want to be cuddled up that I can crawl into his lap. However my biggest thing is teeth. I love great teeth and a great smile. Sorry I know how superficial that is but it is what it is. I'm not looking for drop dead gorgeous, I'm actually more drawn to the average guy or the rough and rugged look. Jeans, boots and a hat will catch my eye long before a business suit. I'm not afraid to work hard or get dirty, but I can also get dressed up and look pretty without too much fuss. Ok if you're still with me at this point lets get real. At this point in our lives we all have baggage. Some of it we carry better than others. There are ex's, children, past broken hearts, and love gone wrong. To expect that the past does not effect us or that it hasn't shaped who we are is just unrealistic. To think it won't rear it's ugly head at the most inappropriate times is just wrong. We are all just human after all. So there it is Gentlemen in black and white.
