People who know me consider me bright and cheery, inquisitive, loyal, calm. It takes a lot to ruffle my feathers. I'm always happy to listen and offer advice as I am a problem solver by nature.

I like to keep physically active but enjoy relaxing at the end of the day. I play mixed tennis on Thursday night & also like to get a hit in over the weekend. Love to cuddle on the couch watching TV/DVDs. Not a fan of the night club scene, its too hard to really get to know anyone in those places. I try to cycle or walk to minimise my environmental footprint and get exercise at the same time. You see a lot more that way too. I enjoy a laugh and can certainly laugh at myself as I generally don't take myself too seriously. I can be a little silly at times, especially if provoked & I really enjoy being playful. Ok, I'll admit it I can be bit of a dag at times!

I love to do fun things with my kids like games and reading. We are big on UNO, Pass the Pigs, Mouse Trap, Settlers, Monopoly & Stratego, amongst others. I usually see the kids a few days a week. I also enjoy time by myself and with close friends. I'm honest - I tell it like it is, in a sensitive way of course! I'm hard working and like to spend the time to do things properly, but am practical about this & know when near enough is good enough. I like to help out and am handy around the house & garden. Open and honest communication is important to me.

Other interest include: walking, golf, gardening & catching up with friends over dinner or BBQ etc. I also enjoy travelling. The most exotic place I've been would be Mizoram, an out of the way state in north eastern India. Rome is one of my favourite destinations. Loved just wandering the streets and being amazed by what I found around each corner.

I would like to take my date out to dinner, discuss our interests, things we have experienced, just generally have an enjoyable chat and at the same time work out if we might complement each other. A chat over a drink or snack is also good. Ideally, I hope to develop a friendship that grows into something more.
