I am a new resident of Portland Oregon, I moved from Northern California to be closer to my family. I recently divorced after a 30 year relationship. 2008 was a year of changes for me, including divorce, retirement and moving to a new city. My horoscope says that 2009 is the year I will find love. I don't live my life by the stars but I found that bit of information very encouraging and I am willing to do the work to achieve it.

I really like to talk to someone new on the phone a few times to see if we laugh at the same jokes and enjoy the conversation. Then, move on to a face to face meeting for a cup of coffee to see if the first impressions were correct. I like most everyone I have met in person and usually have a good time getting to know them no matter what their interests are. It may not result in romance but having friends is a good thing too.
