Good day to all that end up here. I am a good hearted man that has three daughters as his first priority, though they do not live with me. I get along as well as can be expected with my ex, have to do it for my girls. I love to play all types of sports, I just took up playing hockey again last year, I can skate with the men half my age and still keep up. Spending time with my girls is high on my list, we do a lot of swimming and playing in the park and of course the tea parties,lol. Getting away to the mountains for long hikes up a mountain is a great way to recharge my engines, then a relaxing beer and a nice dinner on a patio for the perfect end to the day. The last time I went up there I decided to strip and jump into a glacial river, yup I am a bit on the wild side too. I will try almost anything once, for the experience, then decide if I would do it again. Being young at heart is very important, think young be young, I don't look or feel my age. I want to think as a young man until the day I die, which should be an another 60 yrs or so.
I am someone that likes to think outside of the box,conventional thinking is for the sheep of the world. Nothing great comes out of going along with the crowd or being satisfied with the status quo. I have been a risk taker all my life though now that I have kids I think a bit more before I do things but I still like to live a little close to the edge. That being said I am still very grounded and know what it is that I want out of life and what I can give back to this life I have been blessed with.
Over the years I have learned who I am and how I want to be treated by the lady in my life. The way I look at someone in my life is that we are together for a reason and that this is something not to be taken for granted. A lady should be treated with respect and kindness and she should do the same for me. When two people come together they had lives before they met, these aspects of their lives do not disappear when a new relationship starts. The start of a relationship is just another step in this journey we call life.

What would I do for a first date. Well, I think it would start out nice and casual with a walk in the park so we could talk a little and get to know each other a bit. Then stop off for a coffee at a small patio somewhere to continue with the getting to know each other. By this point we would know if we are going to be at all compatible. If we are then we could go out to a nice dinner at a restaurant, still something casual, keep the presure off. After dinner and dessert maybe go out and do a little dancing or even a movie so we both could reflect on the date so far. After the movie I would take you back to either your car or home if I had picked you up, then I would give you a kiss and say good night.
With this type of date there are many windows for both people to say that they don't think that this is going to work for them so thanks for the walk/coffee, bye.
