About Me
Me (rank at will):

• Possess a humanistic & somewhat laid back demeanor, game-free, well
traveled/cultured, non-smoker, work out
• Intelligent, yet smart enough to remain humble about what I do not yet know
• Relate to a variety of women in healthy ways – my mother, sibling, lover, friends
• 6'0" tall, athletic, slim, attractive, African/Native American, like kids, have
none, kind, generous, short brown wavy hair, hazel/bluish eyes (blue eyed soul
like my dad and grandfather)
• Unwilling to entertain one moment with an untrustworthy or accidental person
• Educated – Bachelor's in Engineering & Business (IIT), Summer Venture in
Management ( Harvard Business School), MBA(University of Chicago), working toward
PhD in CS (Stanford University) while running rapidly growing mobile digital media
Internet business (founder and CEO; we deliver great user experience by driving
engagement, optimal communication, and much better outcomes among target audience
of 78 Million users.)
• Musical; able to dance and emotionally express love, man of faith, travel abroad
• Evocative, thought provoking; able to sing at random (no matter if off-key) and
vocalize emotions, can cook (can you?)
• Successful professional entrepreneur, co-located in Mpls metro and SF Bay Area;
own real estate development/construction firm in Minneapolis, CEO of Internet
startup in Silicon Valley,CA; comfortable in French cuffs and Italian suits, or
jeans and a T-shirt, partial to Egyptian Cotton sheets, sensory pleasing soap &
lightly aromatic cologne (applied in that sequence to insure I'm a pleasant
smelling sexy beast...)
• Financially responsible and self-sufficient; don't do Wal-Mart, NASCAR, gold, no
mullet (sorry to disappoint), am familiar with spell-check, known to doodle on
restaurant napkins,Chino, Figlios, take midnight carriage rides in downtown
Minneapolis.
• Experienced enough to value youth, young enough to value life, stable, and not a
day near too tired to get busy on a regular basis

Recent reads include "Tipping Point"(Malcolm Gladwell), "The Second Shelf" and "Life on the Screen (Dr. Sherry Turkle), "A Framework for Understanding Poverty" (Dr. Ruby Payne).

You ( in order of importance to me):

• A humanist, and somewhat laid-back, not pushy, not overzealous/grossly
opinionated, not cynical, not possessing or in denial of mental illness,
ambitious,
• Intelligent and generally humble, witty when relaxed
• Physically fit, slender to athletic, attractive, outwardly expressive
• Non-smoker, healthy lifestyle, workout
• 28-45 years of living a purpose driven life– with intention, and, in the spirit of
sharing in positive social exchange, is not in the habit of asking a follow-on
question before answering the other person's question first (definite way to leave
an impression of being rude/ evasive/ dishonest/ disingenuous/class-free/lacking
in social graces, etc... (you get the idea) and a way to end a conversation and
more)
• Well-traveled, respectful of and seeking out people from other cultures
• Some or Completed undergrad college, bonus for working on a Masters, PhD, or JD
• Physically active and fit, despite the toll it takes on your time
• Lover of music, literature, visual arts and dance
• Healthy eater/nutritionally, environmentally aware/into "green"
• Willing to work toward developing a lasting, monogamous bond of trust with another
person
• Asian, European, Scandinavian, East Indian, Native American, or African American
roots seem to offer the greatest likelihood for cultural alignment and
compatibility
• Optimist/happy-go-lucky much of the time
• Sense of humor, devoid of rude, crass behavior, has the social grace to
fundamentaly believe silence or ignoring is a not an acceptable form of
communication ( I won't treat you this way if you don't behave this way)
• Moderate politics, open to difference

As I pride myself in being a good listener (i.e., listening in a way that is emotionally intelligent, engaging, and with empathy), I challenge you to put my skills to use and have a mutual functional (vs. dysfunctional!) relationship experience that takes us to another place, another time, another dimension....

As I learn more fluent French, I pass on to you sage advice for enjoying life and all that it offers;" Nes pas deranger, lassez les bon temps roulez" i.e. don't disturb, let the good times roll...

Look forward to hearing back from you once you have indicated an interest and share enough detail about yourself to signal a potential match.

To new beginnings, have an inspired day.

First Date
A glimpse of some of the things we're likely both into. Travel (international-Europe,Coastal Africa, South America, China; domestic-NYC and San Francisco-Wharf, Muir Woods, Napa, music fests), indie films at the Lagoon, coffee visits to the bookstore, darts, pool, Scrabble, animals, Como Zoo arboretum, dining out, walks around Uptown/Lake Calhoun, Figlios, Chino, Minneapolis Farmer's Market, etc.. When it's cold, I enjoy my fireplace, Scrabble, shooting pool, movies, travel to warm beaches, skiing, ice skating, and the arboretum at Como Zoo.

And by the way a striking thing that happened to me involves my volunteer experience at the Courage Center. Specifically, while guiding a disabled child's ski chair down the slopes, the chair abruptly flipped and I was horrified that the kid might be hurt. To my amazement, the 5 year old shrugged off my help and said loudly that he was ok and asked if we could go again because that run was fun! We both laughed, me out of a combination of relief and amazement as to the spirit of innocence in kids. I wish more adults were like that. In the next year, one of my goals includes doing more volunteer work (of course without spilling my mentees onto the ground!)
