I love going to cafes and bookstores, I read a lot. I also like going out at night on the weekends and love trips to large cities. Drinking a martini in a highrise in Chicago with a few close friends is the perfect start to a weekend.

As for hobbies, I'd like to find people to work on programming projects with (especially home automation or AI projects). I also like economics and I like to handle my own investments. I like live music, and I'm often up for getting out to a show.

I'm open minded for first dates, anything can be fun with the right person.

A first date is a good excuse to go to a nice dinner. I think that cooking dinner at home in winter is romantic for later dates (though maybe not on the first). I think it'd be fun to meet someone at a place like the Brass for dinner and a martini, then see a movie.
