I'm just an average kind of guy. I enjoy reading, computers, walks, cuddling, music (no rap). I find that communicating with the person you are with is crucial to a healthy relationship, therefore honesty is important to me. I would like to meet someone for a potential long term relationship. someone to be friends with is also desirable, but friendships must be carefully managed so they don't get out of hand for both parties concerned. I find myself attracted to ladies who are thin to average body types. For the most part I respond to those who e-mail me. I'm still not comfortable with rejection so although I may fine you attractive physically and/or your profile, chances are I won't e-mail you first.

The first date is all about exploring chemistry, attraction, communication , potential compatibility and other areas only the senses can detect and process. It's really not much different than the interaction that should take place prior to the actual first date. What most people consider the first date, in my opinion, is nothing more than the final hurdle to the actual first date. It's a time for vanity to creep into this process, if you will. It's a time for the whole of our information gathering process to come together with the physical meeting where vanity and chemistry take over, in that order. I don't consider this to be the first date. The intent of this meeting is primarily to see if that person passes the "looks in person" test and "are they in control of their senses" test, that sort of thing. You know, "Do I want to get to know this person" which is based on this meeting. The first date should be intended to continue to get to know someone, not to determine if you want to. If the first meeting goes well, the first date should be determined by the two people concerned. I prefer something rather quiet, not too busy so I can give my undivided attention to the person I'm with.
