Hey girls!! (I hope)

I just moved back to the Midwest after spending 2 years in Montana. I was there helping to facilitate wilderness expeditions at a rehab for adolescent boys as a drug and alcohol counselor, which is what I will be doing here once I get licensed. I guess you could call it my "finding myself" experiment. Go into the woods for 2 weeks, see what it's like to live without all of life's luxuries that we take for granted, that kind of thing. I will say that I've gained a new appreciation a lot of things that I never thought twice about before.

Most of the time I'm pretty laid back. I enjoy going out and playing pool, playing cards, frisbee golf, watching mostly any sporting event, and keeping the good people at netflix busy sending and receiving whatever movie or tv series I'm watching. And based on what I've already told you, I think I'd make a pretty good camping partner.

I suppose I'll talk about music. My taste is completely ecclectic. Some of my favs though are hip hop (like the Roots or Talib Kweli, NOT rap), alternative, and a little electronic stuff as well. I LOVE motown and lately I've been getting into the Grateful Dead. As long as it's done well, I'll listen to it. I'm of the mind that a good song from your least favorite genre can be better than a bad song from you favorite.

I don't know if it would be a date as much as two people getting together. I'd like to drop all the pressure and expectations and just do something casual and fun. Something where we could interact with each other, get to know each other better. I think learning a new activity together would be ideal. I'll have to think about this more...
