Bienvenue!!
Hi! i'm very much a lipstick femme. i know next to nothing about sports, and i'm not the sporty type-- (but i always try, much to the amusement of my friends!) Everyone calls me "princess", which should give you a brief idea of my personality, but don't be scared off yet-- i really try not to be too whiny too much of the time.
I'm currently a student, working on my Master's degree in Socio-linguistics. i have my BA in Foreign languages, with a French concentration, and also in Secondary Education. ( I should mention that I have a bad habit of switching to french in the middle of a conversation, especially when i'm very upset or passionate about something- but i try not to do it).
Let's see... what else? Must love dogs. kidding!! but i am an animal lover. my pets are important to me, so is my family. I'm a very shy, quiet person, until you get to know me. I usually don't write people that i like first, i'm too shy, but i do try to write back to people... if i have the nerve. I really don't think people quite seem to get how REALLY, awkwardly, socially, PAINFULLY SHY i am at first, lol. But once you get to know me, you'll love me.

I love to shop, (Have you seen the movie "Confessions of a Shopaholic"?--- That's me, but without the debt) I love going out at nights, or having movie nights with friends, or card nights. i love old books, art, yoga, and fast music. I also have several tattoos and piercings... people seem to think this information is important, so i'm including it. i also think a tattoo or two is sexy. :)
I'm ultra femme, so i usually go more for the tomboy-ish type. i'm looking for someone who is intriguing- fun, smart in her own way, patient, charming, and decisive.

One more thing: Honesty. I believe in being honest with people. I will admit that I can be shallow, and selfish, and quite clumsy, and I embarass myself all the time. But I can be sweet too. I have my redeeming qualities. I'm not a "real" princess, well actually I am, but I just really love New York and designers and all that. Give me a chance. You might be surprised.

Oh!!! and i FINALLY got a new computer!!! and even though the thing already hates me, i can finally write people back. I tend to get into fights with mechanical equipment a lot, i know nothing about technology, and I thoroughly believe my microwave and my toaster are plotting against me. (kidding- about the last part, not about my being technologically-challenged.)
