I believe in a balanced life. I believe work is important, but should not consume ones life. When I'm not working, I like to have good conversations over a meal, drink, or out in nature. I like to try/learn new things (i.e. salsa dancing, new eatery, a hike, etc.) I'm reflective, compassionate, witty, stable, like to laugh, and a good listener. I like to experiment with cooking and love to cook for people I care about. My favorite thing to do on a rainy day is comfort food over a good movie. I like all sorts of music from rock n roll to jazz to classical and everything in between. I'm a typical guy from the standpoint that I love sports and cars. I believe a lasting relationship hinges on a person's character. As one author put it: The only things that last are in a person's character.....you cannot "experience" someone's advance degrees....you can only experience your admiration for them and be attracted to that quality. But the power of that wears off. But someone's insides, their character, their makeup is what you are going to experience in a relationship, long term.
