Hello, I am a 47 year young man (who looks, acts and plays younger) who is successful and grounded, I am the type of guy who is strong and confident, yet tears up when I am touched by sad things (on occasion). I love to spend as much time as possible in the summer months enjoying the beauty of nature, that our great state has to offer, and also riding my motorcycle.

I find myself at an age where I realize that it isn't the quantity of things you do, people you know, or places you go, but the quality of these things. It is important to live life with honesty and with passion.

It is sad that many of the people I meet, are not honest, and they are afraid to be straight forward about themselves. I am a "what you see is what you get" kind of a guy who doesnt tell lies and is always straight forward (hopefully in a nice way), think how much quicker the process of finding someone special would go if people were just themselves from the start.

I have also been suprised by the number of very nice ladies who are on this site, and are posting how they are looking for someone, yet they are unavailable to reguarly date becasue thier life is to filled with drama and other things. Kind of ironic they are on a dating site with no time or availability to date.

I love music and have it playing most of the time, I enjoy watching college football and more than anything enjoy the company of a fun, intelligent and playful woman.

I am looking to find someone who also wants to meet a true friend and perhaps companion if things work out, after all life without the friendship of the opposite sex is not as rich and full as it could be.

While I mention I am interested in long term (you can only check one thing)on the "I am looking for" box, I am interested in taking my time if I need too, until I find my long term love and companion.
