So my name's Mike. Everyone on here seems to like having fun. I hate fun, no fun here. I also don't like hanging out with friends. I like to spend as many nights as possible alone in a dark room, music optional. My goal in life is to find someone to share that room with, forever. If you have taken me seriously until now, you did not pass my screening process.

On a more serious note, my interests really are everything. from music to movies to science, politics to history and the utterly profound to the perfectly mundane there isn't much that I won't be able to pull out some strand of its conceptual dna to keep me engaged. because my english major (one of two), I write a lot. a lot of people have pictures of them with instruments. a picture of me writing would be boring and there are no pictures from the pick-up games of whatever sport I play on any given day.

I come from a musical family, which led me to strike out for a love of movies. my claim back then of being the black sheep was somewhat self-fulfilling. I have developed more and more into a musical person, and will be starting up a band with my brother, writing lyrics and melody and working on arrangements. I also write scripts and an occasional article.

the arcade! or something light-hearted along those lines. first dates are awkward as hell, why go to a stuffy restaurant? I've made that sorta mistake, it's just silly.
