First meetings are inherently nerve-wracking. I feel that if the meeting is casual, of planned short duration, over a cup of Java or a drink but with an allowance for ample time to 'continue' the date if we click, then the pressure isn't so intense and one or both of us could bow out gracefully or continue with a wonderful time and lots of smiles and laughter! :D
