I am outgoing with a good sense of humor. My friends would describe me as honest, even-tempered, and compassionate. I am a good mix of both active and non-active...love to run, ski, bike, travel, go to live concerts and sporting events...but I can also chill inside with a good movie, dinner and drinks, go to a museum and wine tasting. I wouldn't say that I am a jet setter type, but do enjoy trips to Vegas or exotic locals (Costa Rica and Cabo are favs). DISCLAIMERS (I am adding these due to some recent emails I have received so I don't offend anyone by not responding and also to maybe get a laugh out of some of you...and yes these are based on actual profiles)

1. I am fairly active. I don't get up at 5AM, eat 10 power bars, and run 100 miles but I do take care of myself...I am looking for that in someone as well. I want someone who cares about their health and appearance.
2. If you have photos of you in lingerie and/or laying on your bed I am not interested...don't get me wrong, I am a guy afterall but that sends the wrong message to me.
3. If you live anywhere that ends in "stan" (i.e. pakistan, kableekistan, etc) you are a little distant from me. Hard enough to get to know someone locally.
4. Glamour Shots...really???? I don't think I need to go into much more detail on that one.

I believe a first date should be no pressure. Let's meet as old friends who haven't talked in awhile and want to catch up. Any other chemistry will take care of itself. As far as atmosphere, I believe in meeting any place where communication can occur.
