I am not one who sits around watching soap-operas while eating bon-bons all day...but you may find me doing anything from cooking a gourmet meal, driving the John Deere, vacuuming the pool, to painting, hanging drywall or nailing the roof! I have helped remodel many homes: those I live in; those I rent out; and my vacation properties.
I enjoy finding a quiet, peaceful moment just to dream of a bubble bath!
I am going back to college as well - online. I have a big family - and family is very important to me. I came from a large family too, but they live all over the country.
I'm looking for a man who can be tender, but strong; who listens and engages in conversation, a man who can be flexible, but has a backbone. Someone who has a sense of humor, is easy-going, supportive and knows how to treat a lady. One who appreciates a good woman, wants to be in a lasting relationship - and knows what that means. I enjoy walks - it is so beautiful in this area. Hiking, paddleboating, canoeing, and campfires around my properties in the Adirondacks is a terrific time.
I love to travel and have lived in and visited many places - including Europe. England and Switzerland are quite memorable.
Volleyball and bowling are some of my favorite sports; not that I'm that good - except for the serve, but having fun is the point. Swimming or relaxing in the pool, BBQ's, cooking and baking, Mexican and Chinese cuisine, dancing, writing poetry, spending time with family and friends, playing the piano or organ - "these are a few of my favorite things...."
