I am looking for someone to laugh and share with. Life is too short to spend it alone even if I am perfectly capable of being alone.
What do I like in a man??? Well, I like them tall (though the one I married was short) so I guess I also like them short :) I don't mind a few extra pounds on a guy as I have a few myself and skinny guys always make me wonder how they got that way...starvation??? illness??? crack???? marathons??? :( I looked at one ad where the guy said you have to be able to bike 50 miles a day to keep up with him. I did not respond to that one. My favorite features on a man are kind eyes and capable hands. If you have ever hit a woman in anger...please pass me by. I am a one man woman...if I ever find my guy my looking days are over. My last sweetie died three years ago so there is no competetion from the "former" lover. I was raised Baptist but am non practicing. Not planning to practice. I generally watch a Catholic service on TV if I feel the need. My music tastes are middle of the road tending toward oldies and soft rock. I like some country and some "soul" but dislike bluegrass and gangsta rap and hard rock. I can't carry a tune in a bucket so be very afraid if I break into song. I am healthy...none of those icky diseases...not planning to get any either. When I put in this ad I was a non smoker, then I picked them up again, now I'm planning to put them down again...keep watching for updates on that. I am a minimal drinker. As I am alone, I am not drinking at all cause that isn't an alone thing to do. If I go somewhere I can handle a beer or a glass of wine...or a Henessee on the rocks. I am a Grandma...(where does the time go?) but don't spend a lot of time with my sweeties. I dash off to Waco occasionally to see them but most of the time we are spinning in two different directions. They all play ball and are gone a lot. I am professionally employed as a counselor at a prison. No, I won't psychoanalyze you...unless you pay me to, wear prison whites, and require no paperwork!! I have a sense of humor and love to laugh the more absurd the better. I tend to finish sentences and play with puns. I know all you fellas are looking for skinny, young, and wanting to jump immediately into the bed kinds of ladies. And of course, all we females are looking for tall, dark handsome, rich princes on a white horse. I found out a long time ago that what we use for daydreams seldom materializes and if it does, it is a cartoon and not a person. Besides that, the horse generally poops on the carpet. So if you are real...and realistic...and nice...WRITE ME!!!

I like to ride on the weekend looking at wildflowers, talk, fiddle with animals, drink coffee, eat an ice cream, see a movie, hit a flea market....I prefer to be spontaneous and unscheduled. If you have to wear a tie and I have to wear heels, I probably don't want to go there. :)
