I would like to meet an open minded man with varied interests. I am seeking someone who thinks that humour is a necessity of life. I also want someone who is not afraid to face the challenges that life can and does send.
Some of the things I enjoy include: kids, interesting conversation, dancing to live music, reading, politics, art, baseball, and clothes.
I'm intelligent, have a witty sense of humour, am considered pretty, and am also told that I have a unique personality.
I prefer rock and pop music. I am a huge Beatles fan and like basically all of The British Invasion bands of the 60's. I think John Lennon wrote the greatest lyrics. A current artist I like would be Katy Perry. She is quirky with catchy tunes.
To quote Joan Crawford (and generally I wouldn't), "If you want the girl next door--go next door." I am definitely not the girl next door! I do like doing some quiet activities such as just hanging out, playing board games or crib, or going to the mall together, but I also stand out in a crowd when I want to.
I want to meet a man that is very confident in himself and doesn't get intimidated easily. Needy men are usually attracted to me as I am fairly strong emotionally and mentally. I am not looking for needy men. I want an equal partner where we can both be strong and also both show vulnerabilities.
Integrity is very important to me. I meet too many people that what they say and what they do are not in sync. I stand up for my beliefs and values and would expect the same in a partner. I always champion the underdog.
I am not a control freak though and do not want to meet someone who is.
Although I can be very serious (I recognize that my profile does not read as being particularly frothy)-- I love to have fun (men like to tell me I am cheeky and call me a brat) and can easily fit into very diverse groups of people. I'm very spontaneous and take opportunities as they come, so I am ready for a good time without having to plan first.
Hope to hear from some interesting people. Everyone is interesting in their own way and certainly worthy of a book written about their life. Tell me your interesting tale....I'm a good listener.
