I am funny guy, according to my friends. I am on my own again, and have 2 kids. Hmm….what else? I like hanging out with my friends at home and having a beer and singing along with the guitar. I ain’t scared to go out either, and enjoy exploring new places and new foods. I love to read (always have a book or three going), love being the first to find good music, hate my blackberry, love macs, prefer red wines to whites, laugh with and at my son everyday, and hang on every word my daughter says. I used to be a school teacher, and wish I could go back. Anything else...ask me.

beer that's freezing cold, creative people, tattoos with meaning, new music, cooking, comfortable jeans, kisses one the edge of control, my children's drawings, the smell of fresh mowed grass, girls in business suits, the dallas cowboys (even though they don't deserve me),good barbecue, sunsets, old things that still work, nicknames, girls who are in a good mood, puppy bellies, ninjas, PBJ, old trees, girls in towels, dogwoods and bradford pears in bloom, bird hunting, my son's batting stroke, long time friends, babe's chicken dinner house, roosters, good hotel beds, babies, old trucks, medium rare steaks, and Dr. Pepper

Stuff I don't like:

gummy worms, cucumbers, pepsi, Oprah, people who are never wrong, July heat, political extremes, affirmative action, shoes that squeak with every step you take, running out of toilet paper, A-Rod, being late, tighty whiteys, people who cut in line, spoiled rich people who act superior, pigeons (they are just rats with wings), getting 98 cents in change, rented DVDs that are scratched, Dr. Phil, fractions, word problems, militant people, Microsoft, the last glass of beer from a keg, girls in bad shoes, winter colds, TV shows that are "to be continued", most of new mexico, grolsch beer, and laying awake because my brain is thinking to fast...

What I am Looking For: I have no ideal type, so it’s a little hard to say. I am attracted to creative people. I want a girl who is happy more often than otherwise. I want someone to experience life with, not create a life for. Having self confidence and not being terribly worried about “keeping up with the Jones’s” is a big must. Who cares about the Jones’s anyway?

On my first date, I went rollerskating. We held hands during "couple skate". I even skated backward, because I am a gentleman.

Something that allows me to get to know someone. A drink is great if you can find a bar quiet enough, but some place where everyone's comfortable,something low pressure. Hopefully, the conversation is so good, it won't matter where we are. And it's ok for a girl to ask a guy out every now and then.

I love music, so live music is an option, maybe a new restaurant, depends on the person I'm with....
