About Me
I'm currently a university student studying communications (I know, is phony degree). Not too sure what I want to do going forward, but I'm sure I'll come up with something.
I’m a big music guy with a fairly eclectic taste. I’m always interested in getting into a new band and introducing people to my favourite music. I love going to live shows (the smaller the venue the better). Like most people, I enjoy a good movie. Preferably something heavier on story and/or humour and lighter on explosions. I’m also partial to a good book and always have one on the go. What else can I say? I’m a pretty laid back guy. I would also say that I am kind of a geek, but i like to think in a cool way. I’m not big on the club scene. There’s just something about expensive drinks and music so loud that you can’t hold a conversation that doesn’t quite do it for me. That’s not to say I’m not down for occasionally going out to dance (keep in mind I use the term “dance” very lightly as I am incredibly white) at a club of some sort. Other than that, I’m pretty much up for anything at any time. I like to go out and have an adventure. I also enjoy staying in and watching a movie or a few episodes of a TV show on DVD (greatest invention of recent memory).
So who are you? Well, you're smart, sweet, cute, maybe a little bit quirky. If you think you're a geek all the better. A strong wit (and proper grammar) also goes a long way with me. I'm also a bit of a sarcastic kind of guy, so if you can keep up, I will be very impressed.
I will say that if you’re half naked and/or striking "sexy" poses in your profile pictures, I appreciate the effort, but I’m probably not the kind of guy you’re looking for.
There you have it. That’s some of what I’m all about. What's your story?
Update:
So there's a theory that states that people bond most not over what they mutually love, but instead by what they mutually hate. So... here's a list of a few things I'm not a big fan of: 1) People who talk during movies. 2) When an establishment has double doors at its entrance but keeps one of those doors locked (why even have that door?). 3) Coconut. 4) People who call out song titles at concerts (if you have ever done this, or feel like you may one day do this, we simply cannot be friends). 5) People who intentionally abuse the English language. Spelling mistakes are fine. I make them all the time. But when people go out of their way to write things like gurlz, dat, iz, or wut... it makes my brain hurt. 6) Parades.
How do you feel about these things? Don't like them either? Cool. Maybe we should hang out.
