I have two grown successful daughters, three grandchildren, several longterm friends and a great life. Most everything I've set my cap to do I've been able to accomplish through perseverance, hard work and a dash of luck. I live in NYC where I work 3 days a week (I teach Dental Hygiene at NYU and am an equity partner in a dental practice). On some weekends I pack the dog in the car and we head up to Dutchess County were I have a small woodsy cottage where I cook, garden, take walks, feed the birds (not a small responsibility! What did they do before I got there???)and just enjoy the green and quiet which, I have found, is abundant enough for two.
I love to travel and have been on some really fabulous global adventures.
I have an evolved sense of design which manifests itself in my ability to create a warm and inviting living space and I love to put together a group of interesting people to share a home cooked meal and conversation. I've taught water color painting on a very upscale cruise line while visiting ports in the middle east. I am a very social being with a quick sense of humor.
Nantucket and Jackson, WY are places on earth in which I would like to spend my time when my work schedule lessens.
I'm looking for a good person who shares basic values and has interests I've never even thought of. I'm a slave for little round glasses!!! (Must be a hold over from my love affair with John Lennon) If you sense any possibilites here, I'd love to hear from you.

A walk in the park is a nice first encounter. Just getting to know eachother through conversation and taking the time to assess the level of attraction. Coffee or a glass of wine, if we click, is a nice follow-up. Hopefully, we would make a plan for a second date and the rest, I trust, will fall into place.
