Let me give you some advice from a man that has done this a while but wishes he was off of here yesterday. If you see a man u like or if his profile seems to strike a chord or describe you at all, make contact with him and quit this game that so many women play. If there is no mutual attraction, better to know now and why. If you read nothing else these areas should mesh; hopefully you are geographically, emotionally, physically available (not affraid of mental or physical intimacy or commitment) and willing to invest your spirit into something and work at it. The kind of woman that makes a man want to be a better man because he appreciates and cares for her and that is past raising or without small children at home.

the long story is I'm looking for a woman with a mental connection and maturity, positive attitude, honest, a career she enjoys, devoted, hopefully curvy, with depth and a heart (that may have been hurt before) and who is still willing to try and invest it/some time into something (hopefully magical). Who understands that just dating & "being a couple" are vastly different and that the latter requires communication, mutual effort and both ensuring the other gets to see their smile on a regular basis.

We both possess an ability/interest in a variety of things but we learned a long time ago that life is short, it doesn't matter how much you make because you can't take it with you and who you're doing anything with is far more important than what you're doing. I would think that some interests would be shared and some not but even when we are apart we are probably often thinking of that other person and are not selfish with our sense of devotion. I enjoy working with my hands (often doing construction or remodeling projects), making plans, (being intimate) and have a notion of a perhaps lost world where the man is the man and the woman is the woman with a modern slant and we like it that way. I can take care of a woman, a house, do my own laundry and shop but it gets old then going into the kitchen and doing it solo one more day (ie I'm tired of cooking for one) and besides I would love to have your help doing some of these things even if its only to be distracting you. I'm looking for a woman that will remind me each day they are the best thing that ever happened to me and we both are probably tired of wondering what we are going to be doing at Christmas and New Years. I have two adorable dogs, (see photo) but the house still seems too empty for me without you there most nights and that gentle spirit that brings out my smile that I would love to wrap my arms around at night. Looking for a woman to remind me how wonderful life is when it is shared with someone we care for dearly.

I'm not a fan of frequent/large public gatherings, live theater, sporting events or hunting, serious drinking in bars, high school sports, or starting/raising a family at this stage in life. Your cronological age is not so important as your mental outlook and your location is hopefully not so far away (or always going to be so far away) that sharing some time and the stolen moments in life is always like planning a roadtrip. I am also not looking for a challenge to "keep up" with some social butterfly since i would rather be home most nights than out on the town but hopefully there will be times when we dance in each others arms and are oblivious to the rest of the world. Our lives are probably pretty drama free (at home anyway) most days, and we each have a sense of humor and would like to share & some smiles and a life that is far too short.

In one sentence I'm the single, tall, clean cut, visually inclined, longterm career professional, passionate (with the right woman), MacGuiver like handy, with all his hair and killer hazel eyes that can see deep inside you and has it fairly well together except for missing his partner in life. I have been told by friends that I'm a heck of a catch, scientist like bright/gifted, sometimes funny, never wanting to totally grow up (or old) and looking for a woman with a great smile, curvy and with a gentle (but seductive) nature. Hopefully you can appreciate a man for his best features and at least tolerate his flaws and are looking for something similar.

Interests/Vices: time in the country or around water/outdoors, dogs, animals, life, lingerie, massages, the planet, working with my hands, real estate, science, skiing, boating, jetskis, flea markets and sometimes just doing the mundane where there is that follow thru on plans we had made. Be nice if we could occasionally share a drink, meal, time out of the city (at the lake house gazing at the stars) road trips to ?, seeing America and finding your and my smile on the way.

You hopefully possess good communication skills, are employed (or retired), tired of serial dating, are a good kisser or willing to practice till we get it right and looking for a good guy that is stable and romantic. I prefer non smoker that actually likes to cook and bake and that is not high maintenance. We both are probably somewhat conservative in public, finances, have established careers that we enjoy, fairly bright and on the ball in many respects and don't want to be someone's entertainment, continual crisis resolution expert or afterthought. If you ever shop at stores like Fredericks of Hollywood or Electric Botique, and like very tall high heels, you get bonus points for paying attention to your feminine side and if you actually like dressing for your man in public (and in private) we are trully on the same page.
