I'm generally both an introvert and extrovert depending on my surroundings and situation; no, I am not bi-polar :). I’m most pleased when surrounded by the serenity and beauty of nature. I’m drama free and tend to shy away from it like the plague. Seriously, people who thrive on drama should be exiled to their own island.

I’m an avid hiker, love to swim and cycle, and try to maintain a healthy lifestyle although my love for spicy Spanish food contradicts my otherwise healthy approach to life. I still crave mommy’s dishes but the salt is a killer! :(

I’m an animal lover and have saved many over the years from the street and/or pound. I loathe people who intentionally harm animals for pure pleasure. It’s a disgusting display of dominance at the expense of a living sentient being.

I’m divorced and have a son and daughter. Both are over 18 and have begun their journey into independence. I enjoy a close relationship with both of them and take pride in seeing them grow into young adults.

I’m gainfully employed in the same industry for 16 years. While it is not by any means a “dream job”, I have learned to appreciate the work I do and wake up every morning with a positive outlook.

If I sent you a note it was because I saw a pretty smile, or I read something in your profile that caught my attention or I could relate too. It doesn’t mean I want to be your husband, lover, or best friend just yet. I enjoy friendship building and find this as a means to that end. I am totally over any prior relationships and would appreciate the same in someone who may be interested.
