I was married for twenty-five years. I raised my kids, loved my wife, and volunteered in my community. Laurie divorced me.

Now I work a good job in the loop, try to keep my house in shape and gradually improve it, and am exploring the possibility of taking up dancing as a hobby.

Long term, here's the plan for world domination, Pinky. My sons (25 and 22) frequently bemoan the state of American politics. "When politicians say such outrageous and untrue things, why don't people call them on it?" It's because people are taught formulae and not history. My sons and I are going to open a school that will teach K-12 not just where we are, but how we got here, and all the stages we took to get here. Then after a generation, when politicians try to get our students to do something stupid, they'll have the confidence and knowledge to refuse, and to go a different, productive way. The side effect that my sons will locate near me, and my grandchildren will hang out at my house after school, is purely incidental.

I would like to have one special someone who knows me well, and who I know well. I will believe you when you are doubted, I will believe in you when you doubt yourself, and I will see your special quality of soul when the heavens are dark and chaos rules the planet.

I'd like to go for dinner in a quiet restaurant. I'd like to go for a walk after dinner, and enjoy the pleasant evening breeze. I'd like to give you a brief, pleasant kiss before we part ways. The themes are to give ourselves a lot of opportunity to say what's on our mind, to explore each other, and to not stress anybody out too badly.
