I'd like to think im a loyal, caring person. I was raised in a small town, but have lived in big cities from about 18 years onward, and prefer that lifestyle and setting. I'm a good friend if you get to know me, which sometimes is the hard part. Life has taught me to be guarded at times, but for the most part I'm a very happy person. I have a strong background in and passion for sports and fitness, and love traveling, cooking, and meeting new people. Meeting new people is probably my favorite thing to do, because thats how you really learn about life, through others. I have a golden retriever named Lilly, who at times I think can read my mind; shes really smart, its scary. I used to live in Florida, and my best friends are on both coasts, so I sometimes wonder what I am still doing here. Johnson County can be a fun place, comfortable, but hard to live in at times too. Quality people are hard to find. Id love to meet good natured, kind hearted people. People who believe that relationships are the most important thing in life, not money, power, or status. People who are reliable, honest, and good friends. People who appreciate what they have, and don't worry about what they dont, yet are still driven, goal oriented, and positive. People with a good sense of humor, who aren't afraid to "never grow up completely." People with at least some morals, class, and decency. If you're nothing like this description, good for you, I'm the last one to judge anyone. But chances are we wouldnt' have much in common.

First date: well, i would want it to be a long one. i'd say the perfect first date would probably entail going out to dinner...i'll fix ya dinner later...that's a whole lot of fun, too. we're going out to somewhere with some ambiance. i want a quiet little corner with great lighting and great food. we'll sit in the corner and have some drinks and talk things over...get to know what each other is about. good food, good conversation, and good drinks...just don't get too drunk on me. depending on the time of year...it kinda varies on what we could do going forward. if its warm outside, maybe we talk a walk and sit on a bench somewhere and continue the conversation. if its cold, maybe we hole up at a pub with a group of our respective friends. if you're into excitement and its summertime, we'll go skydiving and then do dinner. let's be honest...there are only so many things you can say that would be unique for a first date experience, but even better is being with a person who is unique enough to make the date amazing just by being across the table. :) i'm not claiming i'm that person! buuuuuut...in general, thats what i look for. who cares where we are or what we're doing...if you're so much d*mn fun we could be on troost or prospect and feel giddy. cliche? maybe.
