I just hate writing about myself, but then, who would know me better? I'm re-entering the dating scene after a 30+ year absence. WOW - things have certainly changed!
I think that family comes first. I moved to this area to be close to my daughter and my 2 wonderful grandkids. If we connect, you'll hear about them and their achievements. That being said, there is still room in my life for that special someone that I'm hoping to meet. I selected "Friends" because every good relationship begins with a friendship. Sometimes that friendship will progress.....and that makes for an awesome relationship.
I'm a pretty easy going person. Not high maintenence. I enjoy swimming, walks, watching a beautiful sunset or a starry night sky. I love seeing shows, going to concerts, to the movies or just having fun at home. I enjoy spending time around people who make me laugh and who like to laugh themselves! I like to play Scrabble, Canasta, and a few other board/card games. It's easy to have a good time watching a great hockey game with friends, popcorn and a beer. As for TV, I enjoy programs such as Criminal Minds, Without a Trace, Cold Case and such. And Hockey, of course!
I love to be with someone who has a great sense of humor. Intelligence, personality, and values are just as important. Looks can be deceiving, so I don't consider them a priority.
I've traveled over most all of the US, down into Mexico and up here to Canada. I still love to travel and see new places.
I love good Mexicn Food (anybody know where I can find some?) and think that if you prepare them right - Nacho's CAN be a meal by themselves! lol
My taste in music varies widely from oldies, 60's & 70's rock, to the new country sounds. I listen mostly to Country, Although lately I've been groovin' to the oldies and remembering my younger years. Of course, I'm a much better (WISER) person now so I would never want to be 16 again!
Although I live in Bellingham, I enjoying spending most of my time with my daughter and two grandkids in Maple Ridge BC. So I'd like to meet and/or date someone from this area.

I feel I'm a well rounded person (pun?? perhaps!) and I'd like to meet someone who is fun to be with and enjoys life, as unpredictable as it is.
