I am a warm, happy, honest, positive person who has been without a companion for quite some time. I would like to meet a man with whom I could be friends first and hope that if there is chemistry and mutual attraction, our friendship would lead to something more. I consider myself to be a serious sort of person -- yet I love to laugh and see the sunny side of things. I am feminine, independent and loyal. I am not into serial dating and am definitely looking for an emotionally committed, loving relationship: someone special to share life's journey. I love gardening, travel reading and movies. Also country life, as I was raised on a farm. I love all animals, particularly cats, birds (especially parrots and chickens!), dogs and horses. I am fascinated by (please don't laugh) rocks and love searching for interesting specimens whenever I visit a new place. I am a non-smoker who enjoys good food and wine, old houses, fireplaces, sunsets, cottages, conversation, hiking, boating, the wind in my hair, riding.....would love to travel more, particularly to Scotland and Ireland. I am fascinated by the ocean and adore snorkelling. I have always wanted to take ballroom dance lessons, but can't find a partner.
