Since moving to the Kootenays I have found it more difficult than I expected to rebuild a social life in a new community. I can be a little reserved when I first meet someone, but am generally a very open, candid and honest person. I am affectionate and kind-hearted... and value time spent with my friends and family.

I have two sons, one still at home with me and he will be graduating this summer. Now that my boys are older and don’t ‘need’ me… I am finding I have a lot of free time and can pursue/discover what interests me. I enjoy walking & biking the trails, days at the beach, scenic photography, reading, driving zoom-zoom roads and following a side-road in the middle of nowhere ‘just because it’s there’ - you never know what you will discover. I also enjoy quiet time at home – and miss having someone special to cook with, cuddle up and watch a movie with or just sit in front of the fire with a good red and enjoy the evening.

I really believe we are all meant to be in a happy love relationship to have true balance in our lives and I am hoping to find someone I can connect with on all levels - mentally, physically and emotionally.

It's all good...anything that gives us a chance to talk and get to know each other.
