Professionally, I'm the "go-to" guy who solves tough problems no one else wants to deal with. My work environment is high pressure and the decisions I make can have life-and-death consequences.

To relax, I enjoy making parades, like really big parades, like the Tournament of Roses Parade, the St. Patrick's Day Parade, and a few others around the country. I also spend a fair amount of time volunteering with One Brick.org in New York City and a few festivals outside of Chicago.

I have this really strong creative side and hold two patents. Lately, I've gotten back into using my camera. Along with taking pictures, I have started writing, mostly short stories. New York is a great city to walk around, sharing the sights and making up tall tales.

New York has been great place to indulge my eclectic tastes in music. I've been to see the Boss, enjoyed bluegrass in Brooklyn Festival, the Bugs Bunny Opera (Il Barber de Sevilla), Bruce Hornsby and just about everything in-between.

I'm seeking my life's partner. I would be very happy to find someone who enjoys giving back as much as I do. I have broad shoulders for a woman to lean on and a heart that is loving, compassionate, and warm. My friends know me as stable, dependable, and kind.

Since coming to New York City, I have found one place that I like to go, Simply Pasta on 41st Street between 6th and 7th. It is in a good central location, has a varied menu with good food, is very conversation friendly, and they let you stay as long as you want. Because of the location, it leads to many long walks where you can take in the City in all its splendor.
