I spend a lot of time quilting and sewing.  I go to the gym regularly and work out with a trainer.  I walk with my dogs daily in the country. I will spend time in the outdoors before I will hang out at malls or crowded places.I need to expand my social parameters.  Being a shy person it takes a tremendous effort to put myself out there.I am an independent person, content with myself. My family is all important to me, as are my dogs.
I appreciate most forms of music but am not likely to sit through an opera. I enjoy live theatre and music.

I think a first date should be relaxed. I don't know that it would be comfortable. It should be easy without pressure, a chance to feel out what the other person is about. A walk in the park, coffee,something simple.
