I am a nice guy with all the good and bad that comes with that (I know that some of you girls look for the Bad Boy but - I am what I am) – I am kind hearted and care about others; I look for ways to help out where I can. Sometimes I am shy and prefer a small group of friends or better yet one on one with someone special. Work has stretched me and I can give a speech to 150 people at the drop of a hat, if the situation presents itself. I enjoy the finer things in life - Music, Theater, Food and Wine. That makes me sound snobby- I also like State Fairs, Sports, TV sitcoms and Beer. That means I’m either well rounded or schizophrenic. You have to chat with me to tell for your self.

I work a lot, but we all do, I'm lucky I like what I do and the people I work with - and I have 2 sons who live with me most of the time and a daughter who I see on alternating weekends. For fun on the weekends I am all about the outside when it's warm you might find me on a hike with my dog or playing Frisbee golf with my boys. My Faith is very important to me. I learn something new everyday and the more I learn the more I know, I dont know it all. I love downtown Chicago (grew up in Wrigley ville), the museums are world class, the Zoo and neighborhood fest during the summer are great. Not much of a Bar guy but I'm open to your favorite hangout or dive if that's what you like. In fact I am looking for new things to experience, so I'm open to it all as long as it’s fun for everyone.

I’m looking for A Lady in every sense of that word, someone who holds herself to a high standard but can enjoy the simple things in life. If I have a motto to live by it would be “Life is all about attitude if you think it’s good then its good, whatever it is”.

What I want in a relationship is, someone who Smiles with their eyes when they see me across a room, someone to go to Romantic movies with (can’t do that with my buddies), someone to make me feel like laughing when I am out in public and just think of them, someone who will hold hands on walks, someone who is free to live and love, someone to give my respect and love to, who sees the good in people, someone to think of first thing in the morning when I wake up and just before I fall asleep. It might sound like I want a lot but really I am easy to please.

PS. - Must be willing to laugh even at the dumb jokes cause they make me laugh and I hate to laugh alone.

Ideal first date would include a fine meal some entertainment maybe a concert or stand up comedian and some time after to talk and get to know each other. It may sound simple but it is more important who your with then what you do. If you are more comfortable with Coffee or a drink I'm OK with that but I am willing to invest in a dinner to find out if we are a match.
