I am a fairly laid-back person, but I can be spontaneous every once in a while. I absolutely love to laugh and have great conversations. I'm a university student in my last year of an honours degree in psychology. After my undergrad, I hope to further specialize in clinical or health psychology. I also work part-time as a car rental agent. I volunteer weekly with the Mount Pearl Special Olympics, and love to volunteer wherever else I can.

I'm learning to play the guitar (I'm really bad right now, so any help would be welcome!) and I love all sorts of music. I've got a really eclectic line-up on my iPod: favourites would include (but are not limited to) Jack Johnson, Taylor Swift, Ben Harper, Radiohead, The White Stripes, Shakira, Serena Ryder, Regina Spektor, Jason Mraz, The Beatles, and Amy Winehouse.

I hope to go see every continent before I die (yes, even Antarctica) and publish a novel. Not necessarily in that order.

I'm a very open and honest person and virtually no topic is off-limits, no matter how strange or taboo. I swear like a longshoreman, and my liquor of choice is whiskey. Oddly enough, I also enjoy knitting. What can I say; I have layers.

As an aside, I mean business with my tagline. Literacy is a must for me, so any messages I receive which are illegible due to grammar, spelling, or general laziness will be deleted without a response, no matter how cute you are. I don't need prose worthy of a Pulitzer prize, just manage to not sound stupid.

Also, if you have red hair, that's like an extra ten bonus points.

An ideal first date would be something fun and informal, like meeting for coffee. Actually, I don't like coffee, so you would be drinking coffee and I would be drinking milk, likely from a tiny carton with a straw. Donuts are also awesome. We could talk about our interests, our lives, and all that good stuff. Once I ascertain that you're not going to kill me and fashion my skin into a hat, we can move on from the halogen-lit safe haven of Tim Horton's and possibly into a movie. I'm super flexible. Interpret that last bit as you will.
