This is a great, happy time in my life. Round 2 and I am feeling optimistic and happy! Separated for 2 yrs; will be divorced by Nov '09. Mom of 2 teen-agers; daughter 19 who's out on her own, and son 13 with me.

Excited about finding one sincere, compassionate, kind, sexy man to do fun things with, become a part of each others' lives, and hopefully lead to that "love of my life". Not afraid of commitment; I've talked to many men who are content to date around, have one-night stands, etc. If we meet and there's a spark, let the fun begin...It could be the beginning of a great LTR. Would like to develop a relationship with one man and spend time together doing anything!

No extremes or drama in my life. No wild partying, world travel, "important" job, etc. I have a dry/quick-witted sense of humor. I'm a great listener--would rather hear more about your story than blab about mine. I'm all-Italian, attractive, healthy, honest to a fault, sensitive to other's feelings, romantic, appreciative of little things. I could picture us after a nice dinner (out or home-cooked), just snuggling up on the couch, and I'd have that content, warm feeling.

I enjoy most regular activities: movies, live bands, restaurants (I'm a foodie!), leisurely walks, picnics, bowling, mini-golf, plays, comedy clubs, street fairs/festivals, museums, paddle boats, wine tastings, coffee shops, catching a Nat's, Orioles or Redskin game, (Oh, I will probably beat you at Scrabble, but not at Pictionary...) driving on back roads, watching DVD's at home, long romantic walks, anything that we can do together. I'm sharp and never miss a detail, and I love to learn about people, nature, animals, countries, how things work. Want to sit on the deck with some wine and shrimp and watch the sunset? Want to lay out on a blanket and have grapes and cheese on a hillside on BlueRidge Parkway? I'll feed you!! Enjoy Discovery Channel, TLC, Food Network, anything about animals (I've got 2 goofy dogs). I'm interested in what's happening around town, the VA/DC area and the nation. An absolute deal-breaker would be if you smoke or do any sort of drugs.

"The eyes have it" is meaningful to me. I notice eyes first--they can tell me if you're sincere, kind, respectful, sexy, compassionate, friendly. I don't need to be impressed by you, and likewise I don't try to impress. Don't always need to be on-the-go, planning numerous activities, and traveling the world. At this stage in my life, I'm ready to turn it down a notch; I'm looking for an emotional as well as physical connection. Hope you don't mind PDA's; if we're taking a walk, I'm going to hold your hand or want your arm around my waist. If we're on the couch, I'm going to be snuggled up against you!
