About Me
Let's see...I'm a contract social worker who works with children in foster care and their families and I really love what I do. I do not think I'm better than people who are less educated or economically challenged, and in fact, some of my deepest connections have been established with people at poverty level. It seems people around me often say that they hate their job and look forward to coming home; but for me, when I'm having a rough time, I look forward to going to work. BUT, when not working, I like going anywhere different and trying new things, which include traveling, meeting new people, museums/cultural events, traveling, movies, anything related to politics/current events, camping/hiking, but I also am happy doing low-key things, running around outside with my nephew, sitting on a porch with a beer or glass of wine, watching television at home, and more than anything, I'd like to meet someone who I can have fun with and it doesn't matter what we are doing.
