I am a happy person. I am loving, intelligent, confident, fun-loving, affectionate, generous, honest and open-minded. I'm down-to-earth and even-tempered, and don't let myself get stressed out. I’m definitely not high-maintenance. I really appreciate the simple things in life; it doesn’t take much to make me happy. I have a great life - I am just missing someone special to share it with!

I am extremely optimistic; the glass is always half-full, and sometimes filling up all by itself. I look for the best side of any situation. Friends say my motto is, “There’s a bright side to everything!” I will do anything, give anything for the people I love in my life. I look for the best in people, am always willing to listen, and always give someone the benefit of the doubt. Just so that you don’t think it’s all sweetness and light, I am also strong-willed and can be tenacious in working for the things I believe in. Some people might call that stubborn.

People say I am easy to be with, and I've been told I have a bubbly personality. I don’t take life too seriously, and have a great sense of humor. Love, laughter and humor are huge in my life. Humor is the filter through which I view and experience life, especially myself. You know, if you can't laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at? I am an incurable romantic. I want to love and be loved, and share my life with the man I love. I want us to have a secure, affectionate, close and intimate relationship where nothing can come between us.

I am looking for someone whose values are similar to mine, who is honest and communicates openly, who has a great sense of humor. I want to be with someone who has a positive outlook on life and enjoys the journey as well as reaching the destination because that’s half the fun. I want someone who is a man of his word, and is not afraid to love and show affection, as well as be able to accept it from me. I’d like someone who can accept and love me exactly the way I am. I want us to complement each other and add to each other's lives in a positive way.

I would ultimately like to share life with my best friend, lover and soul mate - someone who will share the good AND the bad with me. Of course, it all has to start somewhere, so it'd be great to have some fun first and see where it goes . . .

Oh and by the way, let me say that I am not photogenic. So if you are looking at my picture, please keep in mind that the in-person version is better.

I don't have any perfect scenario for a first date. What you do and where you go are not nearly as important as the person you're with. The right person makes any activity worthwhile.
