Well, here it goes: As you can see from my pics, I look young for my age (it runs in the family). I certainly don't feel like I'm 45 - more like 35! I have LOTS OF ENERGY, and enjoy life. I'm an extremely loyal person, maybe to a fault. I have little to no patience for people who cheat on their significant other, but I am a very forgiving person (maybe also to a fault). My faith means a lot to me, but I'm not a prude or a "stick in the mud," (I'm bendable, but I won't break!). I love to laugh and joke around a lot. I think laughter, and happiness, can cure a lot of problems. I'm a good listener (God gave us two ears and one mouth - we should listen twice as much as we talk!), but I'm not affraid to speak my mind. I'm very goal oriented. I love my job (I've been a pilot for 26 years), but family will ALWAYS come first. BTW - I'm actually looking for a long term relationship, but it has to start with dating.
I feel it's important to share your life with someone who will appreciate it, and contribute to it in their own unique way, and not just "tag along." There is a line from a song that I have always identified with: "The differences between us, bring us together."
I spent 8 years in the Navy, (served on a carrier in the first Gulf War), and I have a strong sense of loyalty and teamwork, as well as adaptability. I say what I mean, and do what I say. I stand by my principles, but I'm not narrow-minded.
My music tastes can be described as eclectic: I can enjoy Elvis, 50s & 60s music, Christian music and jazz as much as I enjoy 3 Doors Down, Rush or Metallica. I like to dance, and I won't make a fool of myself, or my date, on the dance floor.
I love to play golf. I like to fish occasionally, as well as shoot at the archery range. Love to walk on the beach, and walk over the causeways at sunrise or sunset. I work out pretty regularly (minimum of 3 days a week), as well as ride my mountain bike.
I'm sure there is plenty I've missed, but there needs to be something to talk about on the first date, after I've heard all about you!

P.S. I'm in the process of moving to the Ft. Lauderdale/Boca Raton area to take a new job. I plan to be moved down by the middle of December.
A nice dinner and drinks; maybe some dancing or a comedy club; I can even do a coffee shop meeting (you gotta be flexible!). But MOST IMPORTANTLY - GOOD CONVERSATION. I want to learn all about you, so my ears will be wide open.
