I'm hoping to find you...If you like what you are about to read contact me... And to those of you that celebrate the holiday season this time of the year, may it be a good and happy one... Now, about me....I have many interests... Camping, bass fishing, reading good novels... I love my gardens, love growing roses, and the pleasure of being outdoors, in the sunshine... I enjoy 60's,70's rock and all country music, taking walks, especially in woods in the fall, biking on bike paths, road trips in a car, occasional casinos, concerts, garage sales,bowling, photography, taking pictures of sunsets and waterfalls, many crafts, (crocheting, needlework, sewing, acrylic painting, small woodworking) and being with people that I love... I enjoy meeting people... I feel and look young for my 62 years, try to get 3-5 miles in everyday walking... I used to jog, but age has slowed that down to just the walking, but at a fast pace with music by Foreigner, Fleetwood Mac, Air Supply, Eagles or ABBA(I like the oldies)... I also enjoy using my Pilates, which I love... I like staying active... I'm enjoying my life at this moment, but would like to meet someone for companionship, dating and possible long term... From there who knows where life's path would lead me... Perhaps to another love in my life... "Life's a dance.. Sometimes you lead, sometimes you follow"... I would like to meet someone that enjoys some of same interests but like me is also content with quiet evenings at home watching a movie with a bowl of popcorn ... I work, and will for a short while yet because I enjoy it. I work with children at my local hospital... I love children, and I get lots of hugs at work... There is nothing like the laughter of children... I will retire when I feel the time is right... I'm a warm, caring lady that loves to laugh and has a fun sense of humor... On weekends I live in jeans and t-shirts because I wears scrubs all week long ... But I do dress well if the occasion calls for it ... Another thing, I have 2 dogs (Lab Retreivers) that are a part of my life... My family is important to me so don't want to relocate very far from my home... Sigh... There would have to be someone extra special I guess, since I work still, have dogs and have my own home... Think 95% of you will now disappear (poof!)... I know what I want from life and won't settle for less... Oh, well, all things possible I think since I am a optimist about life...We optimists sometimes get hurt,oh, do we ever, we cry, then we rebuild... And that rebuilding sometimes takes time... As of now, my life is good... What makes me unique is that I AM absolutely for real... If you are a player, into cybering, one night stands of casual sex, please don't bother me..That's not smart, you already should know that, and you will get no where... Wingnuts, please stay away..Don't need or want your attention... Being cynical I know, but I am a realist ... Things and circumstances change our lives... I became widowed 8 yrs ago... I had to learn to rearrange my life and find contentment... And I have... If serious emails, I will answer...I feel if there is NO open communication, then there is NO honesty.. And without honesty there is NO relationship that I can count on as secure... Think about what could be... If my lifes' destiny is to be alone, then so be it... I still hope that I will find my soulmate someday... Someone that when I see him, the sight of him makes me smile with joy!... I miss that very much... This I do know, being one of two is really nice... It has been said that there is someone out there for everyone... Where are you, that someone?... Not sure this is the way to do it though... Time will tell ... I wish everyone that reads this good luck and hoping you find who you are looking for...Some of us will, and some of us will not... But life is what we make it... LOL.... This takes some thinking.... Being widowed, and 62,(editing this, because today is my birthday!..April 19) I'm not into the dating scene much... I think after exchanging emails for a bit to get to know each other, meeting for coffee and conversation the first time is a good start.... Maybe you might have some suggestions? ... I'm ready to find someone to share my future, or maybe to become great friends with... I have been on this site for a few months and did decide to include a picture... Not the best I could do, I know, but it is me, who I am, and the picture is not 10 yrs old!...
