I'm 37, but people very rarely think I've hit my 30's (by looks alone).
I'm the guy that uses a bit of sarcasm in whether it be joking along with someone or a heated discussion of something one feels very strongly about. Both times, people end up laughing and it's all good.
I've lived in San Diego for almost 8 years now. I moved down from San Francisco, where I lived and worked right in the thick of it all. I was working and playing too hard, so decided San Diego was a perfect choice for a downshift. Ah! it was.
I guess I'd say I'm a "tad" shy in large groups until I get to know a few people, then I lighten up and can be the life of the party. If it's just a few people, then watch out! You'll know all about me very quickly.
I don't lie, cheat or steal and am very loyal. I expect my partner to have these same qualities.
I love the feeling I get after playing 2x2 volleyball at the beach for 4 hours on a beautiful day. It's a full body natural painkiller after your last game. It's just beat. But, it feels so relaxing and good.
I absolutely love Mexican food and margaritas. Or sippin' a Pacifico, watching the sun melt into the Pacific.
I cook pretty darn good. I don't cook as often as I probably should (I don't count BBQ each night cooking, but to each her own). However, I love to prepare a special meal for a special woman. As simple as most people would say cooking dinner is, it leads to (in most cases) a very entertaining, comedic, luring, sexy and satisfying night.
I have exceptional manners to this day. I can thank my family & friends in the state of Texas for that.
I like to play volleyball when I can. I also just joined a bowling league which is (believe it or not) very fun. I'm currently considering tennis lessons as that is something I stopped a while back. Oh! and golf! I'm inconsistent as hell, but love the sport!
I hate getting up to work out, but ONCE I step into the gym or hit the pavement, it's game-time and I'm already feeling better.
Lately, I stay up too late most nights. Trying to change that.
I am very serious about tight relationships with true, quality friends. It's not the majority that matters, it's definitely the quality that makes it great.
I hold down (daily) a good job at a large San Diego company as an IT Manager. It used to be a big part of my life, but I am spending this year getting my balancing act back on track. No to TPS reports and Yes to learning a new sport or hobby.
I love breakfast! I love Brenner!
From what I've been told, I am a great kisser. This is not such a bad quality to have ;)
I am a guy that is in touch with his emotions. However, the water that has leaked definitely has not made me rust. I'm also looking for friends AND possibly a partner. I would hope that we'll both be real with each other after we finally meet and call it like it is.
In a relationship, I have a tendency to touch and feel the need to be touched every so often. I think it adds a special element to the relationship. Also, if you are in an argument with the other person, something as quick and easy as a hand on the waist and a quick smile does wonders!
I LOVE thunderstorms/rainstorms. It reminds me being a child and sitting on the porch with my grandfather in Texas.
I spout out random movie quotes throughout the week. It puts me in that moment in time into whatever movie or show it was. This puts me great and funny mood.
I drive fast yet cautious.
I love to travel. I love to try and speak the language as well. Everyone should!
No, I don't speak any other languages fluently. However, living on the border of Mexico for so long, I can definitely get by and make friends speaking Spanish if they assist me a little bit.
Yes, I am a true Scorpio. (Been testing the whole thing for 37yrs now)
I love to take pictures of just about anything as long as I can tell a small story about it later.
I'm a lover of all things music. However, if I absolutely had to give out my favorite genre, I'd have to say Alt Rock. (Think 94.9). However, I've also been known to shake em down pretty good to some soulful House music on a dimly lit dance floor.
I've never done this online dating thing before. Strange. But, want to believe... I definitely know I'm a good guy and don't want to really compare myself to the other guys on this site, but just know that I'm not crazy. I'm the nice guy you might meet at a bar every so often or maybe at the local coffeehouse. I'll be the one that starts a conversation "Hi" instead of a cheesy line. If you like my physical appearance, then more than likely you will like me as well :)
I'm mature, polite and honest (and not to shabby on the eyes) and I am hoping you are the same.
I'm 6'2", 185lbs. Athletically thin? Who knows. I have confidence, feel great and have not heard any complaints.
Wanna know more, just ask...
Yes, I am on Facebook. But, I'd prefer to get to know you at least a little bit before opening you up to my world.
Thanks for reading all of that.

A light picnic in a park on a lazy afternoon is a great way to get to know someone.
Also, sometimes a hip lounge with some good beats at a low decible, and a really good vibe is a good place to get to know someone as well. As long as the music is not so loud that you are having to point your ear at the other person's mouth each time they start to talk, while nodding.
