I have a very lax job, and just moved into a home office. I work in the environmental field, pretty boring.

I love glass. Borosilicate glass to be exact. I am a lampworker and work with a torch in my garage up in Plano. I really enjoy the medium as it is nearly limitless.

So currently my job has been giving me plenty of free time, I do put it into the glass but there are tons of times when I just want to goto a movie, go hit a park--OH! I love disc golf, can be such a fun and easily accessible sport. Anyways, theres just lots of times when I'd LIKE to go do something girlfriendy, movie, lounge around, zoo or aquarium, day/weekend trip, being goofy, etc. I have just had a very hard time meeting friendly down to earth(wish I hadn't used that) chicks. I am from Houston and the people I have been meeting in Dallas just aren't what I'm used to. I'm used to southern hospitality, waving at neighbors and chatting with anyone. Most of my friends I have made here now I am realizing aren't natives! heh, no offense but, there's some pretty materialistic people(chicks especially) here

I'm at a time in my life where I would just like someone to enjoy it with, nothing too serious, I enjoy caring about someone and living life to the fullest, maybe you'd like to see what I'm about. I'm pretty much set, for a time, and while I could probably go back to school more and THEN really have no worries, I can finally just CHILL for a second and damnit that's what I am doing.

I listen to any and all kinds of music and am very easy going, I like to joke and be goofy, and pride myself on being able to keep someone smiling. I feel like I am a very optimistic person and believe that your willpower and personal energy are very powerful things in life. I feel I'm a very empathetic person, it can be very helpful being able to pick up on peoples feelings in a wide variety of situations, and most of all it can help you understand what people are going through and how you can help them cope & enjoy life. If that's your sort of thing.

The glass is a sort of lure so even if you aren't that interested, but are curious about glassblowing/torchworking/lampworking, feel free to drop me a line aswell. I have a fully functioning well ventilated shop with 3 torches and space for 2 more, maybe we would hit it off afer a few lessons hehe :)

I can assure you I wouldn't be cheap or dumb/silly about a first date. Don't put me on the spot! I would have to play it by ear judging on the girl.
