I didn't want to put that at the top of my profile. i'm not a psycho looking for a baby-daddy, but having kids is a goal of mine and i have had quite a few guys write to me that don't want kids...

I'm a dreamer learning to live life daily instead of waiting for it to find me. I want a permanent lover and friend, not just a date. If I'm with you, we are together to make each other's dreams come true, one step at a time. That does not mean we won't make mistakes, it means we won't give up because of them. I recycle, I have a cat, and want kids. I love live music, obscure films (a few chic flicks too), coffee, wine, travel and stargazing. I like to make people laugh, and give great backrubs! Pet peeves are loud gum chewers and people that don't use their turn signal. Dealbreakers are; smokers, liars, atheists and animal haters. If you want to prove to me that chivalry isn't dead, I might be interested. I'm not materialistic, so if money and things equal status for you, we will not be a match. I ask why, and love to learn new things. I also want to learn to snowboard and play guitar. An open-mic night could be in my future....

fav bands are u2(just saw them in chicago!), the nadas, buffalo tom, wallflowers, tom petty, matchbox20, collective soul, john hiatt, inxs, weezer, the cranberries, ingram hill,****prall, neil diamond, big head todd and the monsters, stp (old stuff), live, glen phillips (toad), bon jovi, the dream academy, indigo girls, aimee mann, bush (old stuff), nickelback, blue october, foo fighters, daughtry, keith urban, eastmountainsouth, the eels, oasis, waterdeep, chris tomlin, 3rd day, snow patrol, dishwalla, irish/celtic folk....so much more...

some fav movies.....pirates, star wars, mind the gap, say anything, stranger than fiction, 13 going on 30, before sunrise, the assassination of jesse james, nightmare before xmas, pursuit of happyness, anything muppets (classic!), there will be blood, national treasure, blue crush, knocked up, more.

i don't have cable, but if i did, i'd watch the history channel or discovery channel for stuff like myth busters or anything archaeological as i was a history/art major in college
i enjoy biking, hiking, camping...preferrably in a cabin, museums, antique shops finding new recipes and wines/beers, also recently joined a gym....not lovin the pain, but looking forward to the results!

wasabi is amazing, as is yellow curry...i'm still trying to perfect eggs over-easy. microwave ovens freak me out. i've tried find that 'one' perfume, but tend to rotate about 6 scents...yes i'm a product junkie, esp. eyeliner and shower gels and soaps. on a man, i like drakkar, curve soul.....anything that has a musk/woody/clean scent. i'd prefer my man to be at least 5'11", so if i wear 3" heels, i won't tower over him. if that makes me sound vain..what can i do? i like the tall ones, some meat on your bones but not ripped with muscles...somewhere in-between, something i can hang on to! if you can fix stuff...even better! i'm not afraid to try, are you?

fav cities to visit/live are denver, st. louis, indianapolis, london, dublin. i love road trips!....put in the music and go! back-roads are just fine...and can be more romantic/adventurous

i am starting my own biz, hoping to get out of retail so i can be free to live my life, travel, have a fam. i would like for massage school to be in my near future....we'll see!

in the summer some fav things to do: outdoor music/fairs, amusement parks: roller coaster anyone? (not so much the twirly rides anymore!) maybe a wine tour, art in the park, or something with an obscure band, i'd love to go see a play or movie in IAC at the pentacrest or Shakespeare in the park....fireworks on the 4th are best in IAC! love to grill and hang out with friends on my deck, watch the stars come out! bring your best marinade and a nice dark beer and the night is made! sound good to you? you let me know.

fall is my fav. season! love the cool nights, changing colors, leaves crunching....hot cider, bonfires, bringing the sweatshirts out of storage...it's also the best season for baking and i'm the official pumpkin pie maker at the family t-day celebration!

God has done awesome things in my life. my relationship with God is a process, and i make mistakes! i'm not going to try to explain my 'views' right here, but if you're interested in what i'm reading lately, try 'the barbarian way' and 'chasing daylight' by erwin raphael mcmanus. it might give you some idea of where i am and what i'm trying to be.

i'm fairly traditional when it comes to dating. that doesn't mean that i'm not spontaneous, i just like to be pursued and respected. hookups are not my thing...i'm not into a guy that always wonders 'what's over there'...be with me, be comfortable, be yourself. I suck at the dating 'games', but i can be mysterious when it counts. ;)

i'm not high maintenance, but i do expect you to respect my time, as it is valuable to me. i am more than willing to make room in my life for new friends and a relationship, but if you make plans with me, then break them at the last minute (for example), i won't be impressed. chances are, i have turned down plans with friends or fam to meet you, and that is time i cannot retrieve! i realize that life happens, not trying to be a b***, it is just behaviour that i will not put up with.

a nice restaurant to sit and talk, or maybe a walk if the weather is nice. i also would be up for laser tag, mini golf, or something interactive like volunteering together. if all goes well, we can head to a club and finish the night dancing, watch a movie, talk all night, wherever the moment takes us!
