I like my independence, I love my kids. My kids are young and I am a mom. Don't ask me to call you when I am "not busy" or you won't hear from me for another 11 years. I work a lot, and like to stay busy...I hate to be bored. I miss hanging out with a guy. I love to learn new things. I've worked in a garage, bartended, remodeled houses, roofed, drag-raced, snowmobiled, was a stay at home mom for almost a year and a foster parent...etc, etc. If a guy can make me smile and laugh - I'm hooked. I have a huge heart & have always tried to help others. Sometimes that has cost me. One of my favorite sayings is some people just s*ck. But, I don't dwell on the past, you can't change it, you grin & bear it, learn your lesson & move on. I'm hoping to meet someone interesting. The best thing my ex taught me was how to be alone. I am a twin, I was with my high school sweetheart for over 10 yrs - then I was with my ex-husband for 8. I never had to be alone. It was actually one of the best things I've learned to do. Now I have - I have established I can. I don't NEED a companion, I want one. I don't get jealous, I don't have that gene for some reason. I don't nag or call someone for the whole "where you been, watcha doin'"..that drives me crazy. I believe two people should be able to have their own lives yet be compatible enough to share some of it, too. I'm not high maintenance, I've been a licensed cosmetologists for 16 years. I like my money and earn every penny so it's a little hard for me to part with it. I don't borrow money or get babysitters. I enjoy conversations and I have a lot to talk about, but I'm not a loud/big mouth..I know when to shut up too. Sorry, if you don't have a picture-I won't consider you. I am not vain...I just like to associate a face with the words you have put out there.

first dates...meet at the park or mall, hopefully there is some chatting on line or on the phone before hand. not opposed of anything, just hate to sit in a bar or go out to eat...so many better things to do...talking/laughing is a must
