| | I think I'm funny, inquisitive, and book smart (read between the lines), but then again, if I were a man, I'd also date me (which I guess makes me a narcissist). I like, amongst other things, reading, walking, traveling, running, wikipedia, and an assortment of other generic things that will provide absolutely no insight into my personality. What else? Off the top of my head - I have an embarrassing love of Gob from Arrested Development. I have theories that cheese goes with everything (true story) and that people who like Dr. Pepper will also (in consequence) like Root Beer. My next car will be a Mini. If I could do life over again, I would go to the Olympics. I like people who use proper grammar and spelling, but am 100% likely to incorrectly spell you're/your within 15 minutes of mocking inappropriate you're/your usage.
In my friendships, I tend to gravitate towards a certain type of person: someone who is sociable enough they could talk to a fence post, someone who always seems to know the answer to random trivia, someone who has a great sense of humour, and finally someone who has a brilliant mind, but is not so abstract and serious that they cannot ponder stupid questions...like - I don't know - where pineapples come from. I look for those qualities in a friend because I'm shy, I ask a lot of (often stupid) questions, and I enjoy a good laugh! And yes, I know where pineapples come from - it just took me a while! :) |
