| | I moved to downtown portland about a year ago and it has been great. I love being able to walk to all the bars and restaurants. I'm starting my fourth season of kickball this Sunday and I'll be playing in two tournaments this summer. I go paintballing at least once a week. My worst vice is probably my computer, I can make hours melt away staring at this screen. I also like to read books and play any sort of board/card games. I have my advanced scuba certification and have been skydiving. I probably wont go again (cost vs time/fun) but I really want to get into paragliding. My dad took me when I was a kid, some of my favorite childhood memories are of going tandem with him and floating around in the sky for hours.
I am a very sensitive person. Not the kind of sensitive that lacks a thick skin, the kind that is highly aware of their surroundings and the less obvious details. That resulted in me being a shy kid and at this point I'm just fairly reserved in public. Some upsides are that I'm polite, a good listener, and a skilled conversationalist. I generally try to make people feel comfortable and it's very rare for me to be crudely socially inappropriate. I am a deep thinker, late night discussions about strange ideas make me happy. I'm also fairly active and athletic. I played sports all through my childhood and still do to this day. I go dancing at least once a month, it can take a couple shots of tequila to loosen me up but I have a great time. I am confident and sometimes rather stubborn.
It can be hard to pin down exactly what I'm looking for in a girl. She has to be nice. Jealousy can be frustrating. I want someone who isn't too high strung. I am fairly laid back and open so I don't really last long around judgmental people. I guess I'm just looking for someone to explore the world with and have fun. I am looking for a long term relationship but I am open to just making friends. |
