Searching for the right person for me and, ultimately, my best friend. I am a bit of a contradiction in terms, a paradox if you will, but for better or worse, I am me. I am a single parent to two kids, a 6 yr old and an infant. I like to do many different things and would love to expand my horizons. I am open to trying new things. I'm a bit of a closet adrenaline junky and would love to find someone who understands this side of me. If you don't like the radio cranked and the windows down, we probably won't work out. I'm a bit of a restless soul. I definitely have my ducks in a row but I want more. I roll with the punches fantastically well and need someone who can do the same. If I do meet someone, it will be important for them to understand that I want to take things slow - just because I am "old" doesn't mean I am itching for a ring on the finger (of course, jewelry is eagerly accepted).

Generally speaking, I am laid back and easy going. I have a fabulous sense of humor and love witty banter and sarcasm. I am a realist at heart. I would love to meet someone who enjoys physical activity and getting out and keeping busy; however, everyone needs the occasional night in and I'd like to meet someone who knows how to relax. I also understand and fully believe in chemistry. If it isn't there, it isn't there. But don't underestimate me as that would be your loss.

RANT: In addition, please spare me the profiles where you sit and crab and moan about how awful you have been treated by women over and over again, and how all you want is a good woman. Hello? Are you in there? If you are continuously getting jacked around, then it is YOU who continues to pick the wrong women. Venture out and try something new. You decide who you date, so stop picking the wrong women and quit complaining to me, one of the good ones, when you don't.

A first date - let's do the drive-in chapel in Vegas, but in a Lambo or a Ferrari. YES!

Ok, ok, how about a walk, a cup of coffee, or a drink...perhaps an aimless drive...maybe putt putt...hmm, what else...bowling, pool, or perhaps a sporting event...however it plays out, let's have fun.
