Hello girls. I'm a retired engraver and enjoy e-bay, woodworking, poker, fishing, auctions, flea markets, watching a lightning storm, and intelligent conversation, the latter being most important. I listen to classic rock and country, but I've been known to enjoy some classical too. I'm creative, fun, generous, analytical and independent.I'm picky about spelling and grammar, but I probably wouldn't correct you if you're not. I'm looking for someone with similar interests, who is emotionally, physically and financially stable. For those of you who have tattoos or "extra hardware", please pass me by. They are a real turn-off for me. I have some pics posted, you should too.

I have two grown kids that I'm very proud of. A son in Nashville and a daughter and granddaughter in St. James. I don't see them near often enough though.

Lately, I've gotten into woodworking. I've always been good with my hands and pretty creative so this kinda comes naturally. I usually have the Cardinal baseball game on or some music while I work. There's something very relaxing and rewarding about making something in wood.It's a great feeling to know that you're making something that could be around for several generations.

There's two good fishin' holes nearby and I try to get to one each week.

I'm constantly trying to improve myself, either with my diet and weight or teaching myself something new.(although I spent $140 on a mortising machine a year ago and haven't learned to use it yet...boys and their toys, huh.) I've lost almost 50 pounds since these pics were taken, but there's still plenty of me to share with the right girl. Is it you???

For a first date, I would prefer to be outside, like a bbq. Coffee and conversation is a good place to start also. Indoor activities can be fun too. Dinner needs to be in there so I could get a chance to know you better. Movies are ok on later encounters but limit conversation. A little wine is always welcome. Some dancing could be fun. I'm getting ahead of myself though. I'm up for suggestions also.....you should be too.
