I'm a down-to-earth, easygoing, fun loving guy who would like to meet someone similar for great conversation, sharing of mutual interests, and maybe more. Fitness and staying in shape are important to me, and I'd prefer to get to know someone who feels the same way about this. I have many interests....hiking and enjoying the outdoors, taking long walks on summer evenings, playing guitar and drums, trying out new restaurants, day trips, weekend getaways, nights on the town, searching for a good glass of beer or wine, renovating my house (painting a room with someone special, over pizza and beer, and lots of laughs, is my idea of fun), and spending time with family & friends, to name a few. I tend to think my tastes are somewhat eclectic. If you take an active role in life and have various passions, then we'd probably get along well with lots to talk about....and, if you enjoy thoughtful and interesting conversation, that's even better. I'm looking for someone who knows how to have fun but also be responsible. I'm a working professional who likes to work hard by day and make the most of my non work life. I enjoy learning new things and I think it's important to approach any relationship with an open mind, a healthy dose of consideration for the other person, and the desire to have fun along the way. One other thing worth mentioning - my experience with online dating has shown there are usually too many expectations when first meeting someone. It's a lot better to meet as friends first, take things slowly, and have some fun along the way.

Starbucks is a great place to go for a first date - great place to sit and talk over coffee, get to know one another, and decide if a second date would be a good idea. A Starbucks with a fireplace would be even better...
